Hi Lovelies,

I’m so excited to share this with you all. Glossier finally ships to Canada and let me just say I have been waiting for this (for ages it seems). I placed a small order to just try it out.

I purchased the favorites:

Balm dot com – Coconut (yum) Trio $40CA ( I only have one because I ordered with a friend) or you can order one for $15CA

Stretch concealer – Medium $22

Boy Brow- Clear $20CA

I love that it comes with these little stickers, they are fun and cute.

Overall everything is amazing. The balm dot com is a favorite since its multi use multi use; lips, cuticles, dry patches. The stretch concealer took some time to get use to for me as I normally use a full coverage concealer, this one is light but covers but it lets my skin show; and it works well to cover little pesky breakouts. Boy brow is a total win for me it keeps my brows in place and when I fill them in they look so well groomed (I love a structured brow) and it’s great on its own when I’m runing out to do errands.

I never thought I would like the more fresh skin look, but I must say that I’m getting into for my down days and when I just want to look put together but not over done.

My Wishlist:

Body Hero (cream and body wash)

Skin tint

Super Pure (serum)

Super Bounce (serum)

and the Glossier sweatshirt 🙂

BECCA x Jaclyn Hill- Champagne Pop

Hey Lovelies,

I know I said I would update soon, and I didn’t. I’m sorry about that. Life got in the way and I kind of lost my mojo to write anything. But now I’m back with a little review.  Pretty much everyone and their mother has heard about the collaboration that Becca Cosmetics did with Youtube beauty guru Jaclyn Hill, and that is of course Champagne Pop shimmering skin perfector.

I was one of the few people who wasn’t sure if the colour would work on me (for reference I’m NC44-45 in Mac foundations or 170 in MUFE) and I at first was not going to buy it. Then I saw swatches of other ladies with similar skin tones to mine, so I decided to buy it and honestly it’s beautiful. It has a gold/peach reflect but on my skin it looks like a soft gold with a hint of a soft peach colour. It is one of the best highlighters I have ever tried. It is so smooth and buttery that it glides of the skin and leaves the most beautiful and flattering highlight, if your not into a bold highlight  gently tap the brush in the product and dust off the excess. It retails at Sephora for $46 and worth every penny.

Let me know if any of you have tried it.

STILA- stay all day brow pencil

Hey Lovlies,

I have a serious love for eyebrows (as many of my friends know) and I’m always on the hunt for products that won’t smudge or fade off my oily skin. So I was pleasently surprised when I went into my local shoppers and was told STILA had just released a new brow pencil (and a cream contour kit, but that is for another post). It has the same premise as the Anastasia Brow Wiz (which I also love). One side had the micro fine pencil and the other a spooly, the packaging is beautiful as well; dark navy blue with gold writing and caps on either end.

I have been trying it out for the past week and I must say it is good, it does not fade as much as my other brow products and as the name says it does stay all day. What I like the most is that it glides smoothly onto the skin, you can create fine hairs because of how small the tip of the pencil is.

I purchased mine at Shoppers Drug mart for $27CAD.

Let me know if any of you have tried it out.
