New In: Makeup

Hey Lovelies,

I have a couple goodies I just purchased and I’m excited to share them with you.

First up:

The Shopping Channel (it was the showstopper) Mally Beauty The Good life 6 piece Colour Collection (now retailing for $89.99)

The set came with a 4k Ultra HD Fantasy Foundation in “Rich”($39.00), 4K foundation brush ($35.00), More is more mascara ($27.00), Ultimate performance lip shellac in “Perfect Nude” ($24.00) and two Shadow Sticks in the colours “Burnished Bronze+ Pink Champagne” ($32.00 each) a plus was the cute makeup bag that came with it.

The 4k foundation is supposed to be  natural looking coverage it’s supposed to “melt” into the skin. Overall I like the feel of the foundation my skin is oily and so far its going well, but I’m going to keep trying it out; the mascara is a medium plastic brittle brush its similar to the CoverGirl lash blast brush. The two cream stick eyeshadows are beautiful the only issue I have is with the colour Pink Champagne, it doesn’t translate well on me but Burnished Bronze is amazing for a quick eye look. The lipgloss is pretty high-shine and pigmented, it works well on its own or over a lipliner.

Smashbox Always on Liquid Lipstick $28 each:

I picked them up at my local Shoppers Drug Mart and I was so excited since I didn’t have to go all the way to the mall. I picked up Out Loud a deep orange that is perfect for fall/winter and Stepping Out a nice warm nude. The formula is smooth and it sits nicely on the lips, it dries down quickly but it’s not an uncomfortable dry its more of a moveable matte finish, and it lasts pretty well as long as you don’t eat anything oily.
